It's great to create and share content but sometimes there are drawbacks as well. Some of the major hazards can be the following: Threatening to be sued or having a lawsuit filed against you. This may not always be the case but it can happen if a person, company, brand, or organization feels the information you created or shared is causing them harm in some way. You will have to learn more about your state's laws and how these are handled. Content being stolen: Some people who have websites may have their content scraped. This means a robot goes through websites and copies some or all of the content. Then posts it online to a new website. You can read more at the Cloudflare blog post I mention in the video. https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/bots/what-is-content-scraping/#:~:text=Content%20scraping%2C%20or%20web%20scraping,carried%20out%20by%20automated%20bots. This may be a bit difficult to stop since there are so many tools out there for people to use that do this. Content being used without permission: This is sort of like content scraping because there may be a website that uses an aggregator that collects content and posts it all in one place. I found one of my Youtube videos on a website that did this. For this, you can reach out to the site and request that they remove the content. Again you will have to look up a bit more information on how to handle it from there if they refuse to remove it.
