Many of you may already know what a brushing scam is. Yet some of you may not. What's a brushing scam? A brushing scam is basically where you are sent items you didn't order. Some items may be addressed to you with no return address. Others may be addressed to your address but someone else name. I think I was a part of this a few years back. This happens to many people. one of the most noted ones was in 2020 where people were being mailed seeds from Asia. Why is this done: Many times this is done so sellers can boost their sales. other times I think it's done because sellers hope people will post reviews for the product. Again to help boost their sales or product rating. What you can do: If you think you are part of a brushing scam you can contact the retailer. Most times you are told to keep the products you are sent. Most aren't very expensive. This was very popular via Amazon. But it has happened with others. You can also change your account passwords.
