In this vlog I took you along with me to Aldi because you know how it goes… I went in for a food shop and somehow the middle aisle had other plans. I wanted to get there early (before the hustle and bustle) and I was on a mission for the Bath & Body Works-style candle dupes I’d seen online. I also grabbed a few fresh bits to try and eat better—fruit, veg, deli ham, and the bits I use for my usual breakfasts (scrambled eggs with spinach and tomatoes). And yes, I did mention the wall swatches in my bedroom… it’s not aesthetic, it’s me trying to choose a colour. Once I got home (and straight into a Zoom call), I showed you the Specialbuys bits properly: a really handy 4-piece mixing bowl/sieve set for baking, a gorgeous pink designer-look vase, and the matching Bloom candle (rhubarb, rose & cypress) which honestly made me so excited because they look identical. I also picked up two of the £3.99 candle dupes (Blue Freesia and Cherry Blossom), a decorative 3-piece garden hand tool set because I need to get in the garden, and a couple of puzzle books for easy holiday/airport entertainment. My store wasn’t as stocked as I expected, but there were still some proper little bargains worth a look.
