Since graduating, I've had questions about my opinions on the courses I took and the degree in general. So I made this video to give my thoughts on each of the modules I took throughout my 3 years of studying astrophysics. About This Video

In this video I break down what was actually in my Astrophysics degree, module by module, across all three years. Since graduating I’ve had loads of questions about which courses I liked, which ones I found tough, and what I think the degree is really like when you’re living it week-to-week. So I go through Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 in order, giving my honest opinions on the content, the workload, and how each part fits into the bigger picture of becoming a scientist. The main takeaway is that an astrophysics degree isn’t just “space stuff” all the time—it’s a lot of maths, physics fundamentals, and learning how to think properly. As the years progress, the material gets more specialised and (in my experience) more interesting because you start connecting the tools to real astrophysical problems. If you’re considering astrophysics, already studying it, or just curious about what the curriculum looks like, this is my attempt to demystify it and give you a realistic sense of what you’ll spend your time doing.
