About This Video

Y’all, in this video I’m sharing what I’m learning in a waiting season that honestly has been one of the hardest ones I’ve walked through. Waiting can bring so much anxiety, frustration, and discontent, but I truly believe the Lord does some of His deepest work in us in the “in between”—right before a breakthrough. I talk about how the enemy wants to use our emotions to still, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and how learning to discern God’s voice from the enemy’s lies can change everything. I also share parts of my testimony—waiting years for my family to come back to church, getting rejected from every college, and then being diagnosed with cancer two days before starting community college. Looking back, I can see God’s timing so clearly, and it reminds me that what feels like a delay can actually be protection and purpose. Then I break down three reasons waiting is so difficult: pride (getting in our own way), surrender (letting God drive), and comparison (especially on social media). I end with Bible verses that have helped me trust God, fight anxiety, and stop measuring my life against other people’s timelines.
