We are moving to Vermont, and I’m still kind of in shock (in the best way). In this vlog I share the long-story-short of how it all happened: Jack applied to a job in Vermont, heard back, then… nothing for about a month. We were literally starting to plan on staying in Dallas and touring apartments in Texas when he got the call that he got the position—then found out his start date was only three weeks away. We hit the ground running, found an apartment community that felt safe and tucked away, and just started watching the Lord make a way in so many little “God moments.” Once things were set, Jack drove up with his dad on a 26-hour road trip, got moved in safely, and he’s been loving his job. When I finally got to see Vermont for myself, it was absolutely beautiful—mountains in every direction. I take you along for a pure fall montage weekend: exploring Burlington and Church Street, heading to Stowe, stopping at Cold Hollow Cider Mill, and hiking Sterling Pond Trail at Smuggler’s Notch. The biggest takeaway for me is the peace we’ve had through a cross-country move—yes, it’s stressful, but we truly feel like this is where the Lord has us for the next year (or more).
