Today I’m reviewing and actually trying on the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream, including the *new* shades I picked up, and I’m telling y’all if it’s really worth the hype. I grabbed two shades—Light and Light Neutral—and I’m saving Light for summer because it’s a little too dark for me right now (I’m very pale). Light Neutral is perfect, and the biggest thing I want you to notice is how this CC cream blends out like butter. It gives me full coverage, but it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey at all. Before foundation, I start with the IT Cosmetics Barrier Boost Moisturizer because it has seriously helped my skin this winter in Vermont. My skin barrier was going through it—redness on my nose, chin, and under my eyes—and it was painful and honestly ruined my confidence. Switching up my foundation and using this moisturizer changed the game for me, and it makes such an amazing base under makeup. I also try a new tool—the 117 airbrush spatula brush—then finish blending with my usual No. 7 brush. After setting key areas with powder, my base looks flawless with a nice dewy finish—shiny, but not too shiny—and I leave you with my final thoughts and how much more confident this routine has made me feel.
