About This Video

Working from home is AMAZING, but I’ve learned you really do need self-discipline and a strong, structured routine if you want to stay productive. In this video, I walk you through my top five healthy habits that help me stay focused, energized, and out of that “I’m in a slump on the couch” kind of mindset—whether you’re brand new to remote work or you’ve been doing it for a while and just can’t get a routine to stick. First, I’m all about stopping the snooze button (I feel way more groggy when I hit it). Then we talk breakfast—because coffee on an empty stomach is not it, and I notice brain fog and sluggishness when I don’t fuel my body. I also share why getting out of pajamas and into real clothes genuinely trains my mind to work, even if I’m not going anywhere. Next, I explain why having a designated workspace matters (bed and couch = unproductive for me), and I finish with the habit that keeps my Type A brain on track: a planner and to-do lists. These small changes make a big difference in work/life balance and daily motivation.
