I got back from Japan literally two days ago, and this video is my full beauty + hygiene haul—everything I picked up across Don Quijote, Japanese pharmacies, Cosme, and even 7-Eleven. I’m sharing skincare first (cleansing balms/oils and water-based cleansers for my usual two-step routine), plus the one “mystery but popular” hydrating lotion/essence I kept seeing everywhere. And of course, we have to talk sheet masks—because I truly did not realize how intense Japan is about face masks until I saw walls of them in stores… and then face masks as hotel amenities. Then I get into my favorite category: sunscreen. I grabbed a wide variety of Japanese SPFs (gels, essences, minis) because trying sunscreen is genuinely one of my main hobbies, and Asia just does it best. After that, I show haircare (including the masks I tried and the one I ended up loving even more), body care like the Baby Foot peel and the peach tea hand cream I became obsessed with, and finally makeup—especially lip products with SPF, which I think Japan does way better than what we usually get in the U.S. I also share the custom fragrance I made in Japan, which was such a fun, personal experience.
