About This Video

We finally reached the end of my Winter Project Pan, and in this finale I’m sharing all my progress, empties, and the products that totally tested my patience. This project ran about three months, and I feel like I really honed in during the last stretch—so yes, we have some satisfying empties. I go category by category (body scrub, body wash, moisturizers, fragrance, and makeup) and I’m honest about what I loved, what I got sick of, and what I’m shelving or decluttering. On the body care side, I finished my Dove Hot Cocoa Swirl scrub (loved the scent, don’t love the formula) and my Bright Christmas Morning body wash (easy repurchase). Inner Angel is basically one use from empty and it’s such a delicious boozy spiced apple pie vibe—an Angel’s Share type moment in the shower. I also emptied my EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion (I cut it open because it’s gold) and my Milk body butter, which I’d 100% repurchase someday for layering. Fragrance-wise, I’m decluttering Clean Reserve Skin because it’s gone off and literally burns my nostrils, while Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato has been speaking to me lately (even if it reads a little soapy). Makeup was the most satisfying: my Mario bronzer is in the final hours of its life—like, maybe one use left. Overall, I’m proud of the progress, but I also learned I can’t live with a huge lineup of “forced” products, so I’m seriously considering a smaller monthly project pan going forward.
