Hi guys, here's my review of the NF Acous NM25, an IEM primarily designed for studio use. It's a bright sounding single dynamic driver IEM. About This Video

In this video I review the NF Acous NM25, a $199 single dynamic driver IEM from NF Acous’ professional series that’s primarily tuned for monitoring. I go through the unboxing (book-style packaging, zippered case, quarter-inch adapter, stock tips, and a 5N silver plated OFC cable), then I talk build and comfort. The shell is milled from a solid block of aluminum with crisp edges, engraved markings, and two visible vents. Comfort-wise, isolation is average with the shallow stock tips, and you can get a bit of driver flex. I also show my measurements and explain what they mean: the NM25 is clearly a brighter set with a boosted upper midrange and peaky treble beyond 4k, plus a smooth bass shelf with a slight mid-bass lift and a small sub-bass roll-off. Sonically, it’s a vivid, airy, V-shaped IEM with strong perceived detail—great for picking out nuances or flaws in tracks, but the treble can be fatiguing depending on genre. Personally I don’t prefer it for modern rap and EDM because the snare and sibilance can get a bit too lively, but with jazz and classical the airiness comes through in a way I really enjoy. Soundstage is wide with decent depth, and the imaging is surprisingly precise for a single DD, especially versus the Earacoustic SPA Hi-End Max.
