Day 6 starts exactly how we like it—up at 6:30am and heading straight to Magic Kingdom for those early-morning vibes. We parked up by 6:47, went full “team monorail” for rope drop, and enjoyed that gorgeous Main Street lighting (bubbles in the air and the smell of popcorn—honestly, perfection). We grabbed an iced coffee and a cookie at Starbucks, watched the welcome show (it’s genuinely worth 5 minutes), then did a quick-hit ride list while the waits were still reasonable: Space Mountain (posted 30, felt more like 20), Pirates (where Luke got surprisingly wet from the cannonballs), and a chilled Little Mermaid ride with a few stops along the way. We then did what we always end up doing—snacking. Gaston’s Tavern cinnamon roll is still our weakness (warm, loads of icing, and yes you can ask for extra), and Karen’s crème brûlée croissant finally convinced us to try it… and wow, where have we been? After PeopleMover (our happy place), we skipped the massive Starbucks line and went for a Main Street Confectionery “build your own” candied popcorn—caramel with milk chocolate syrup, Twix, and crushed cookies. Then we headed out to Celebration for a peaceful lake walk and a Starbucks run, before finishing the day with a proper comfort-food lunch at Miller’s Ale House on iDrive—spinach dip, ribs and zingers, and a veggie-style quesadilla—plus genuinely brilliant service that keeps us coming back.
