A lil vinyl setup tour for you all ✨ Featuring my U-Turn Audio turntable and Edifier Speakers!
About This Video
In this video, I’m finally giving you a little tour of my current vinyl setup—the corner I’m always casually showing on Instagram and TikTok, but never really breaking down. I walk you through the whole vibe: the posters, where the turntable lives, and how my husband and I have our collections combined in the living room (it’s honestly become the focal point of the room). For storage, we’re using two of the eight-cube Project 62 shelves from Target, and I’ll be real—you have to take the legs off because vinyl is heavy. One day I’d love custom shelving, but this is what we’re working with right now.
I also go in-depth on my U-Turn Audio turntable setup: I ordered it with the built-in preamp and added the acrylic platter. I keep a slipmat on when I’m not playing anything, then take it off when I’m actually spinning records, and I also have a white acrylic slipmat for showing off colored vinyl. I added a Q lever upgrade (still think it’s criminal it’s not standard), and while the table has held up great since I got it in 2022, I definitely miss auto-stop and want that whenever I upgrade. I finish with my new Edifier Bluetooth speakers (a Christmas gift), plus the accessories I use all the time—my 45 box, now playing stand, lava lamp, and the cleaning tools I use before every spin.
