Taking a look at my (extensive) Paul McCartney (and Wings) vinyl record collection! Paul is my favorite Beatle so I have a little bit of everything when it comes to his solo career.
About This Video
In this video I’m diving into my (extensive) Paul McCartney—and Wings—vinyl record collection, and yes, I wore my fabulous Paul McCartney & Wings shirt for the occasion. Paul is my favorite Beatle, and I genuinely enjoy his solo career the most, so this whole cube behind me is basically dedicated to him. I also did the thing where I put everything in chronological order… you’re welcome.
I start with McCartney (including a super cheap flea market copy that I *think* might be a Taiwanese bootleg in a paper sleeve), then move into my absolute favorite Paul album, Ram—which is a perfect album to me. From there I go through the Wings era highlights like Red Rose Speedway (including my second copy that was gifted to me “signed”… and yes, it’s very fake), Band on the Run (plus the Archive Collection version), Venus and Mars (with posters), and Wings at the Speed of Sound (because this whole album is just a bop). I wrap up with later solo releases like Tug of War (my go-to cry album), Flaming Pie (a box set I scored through a Sound of Vinyl deal), Chaos and Creation, New, Egypt Station (a really meaningful release-day memory for me), and multiple versions of McCartney III—including McCartney III Imagined on gorgeous purple vinyl.
