In this video, I’m testing two brand-new, super affordable Sephora Collection launches to see if they can hang with my usual luxury favorites: the reformulated Best Skin Ever Multi-Use Concealer and the $10 Mini Mix Eyeshadow Palette in Beyond Brown. I swatch the concealer next to Makeup Forever HD Skin Full Cover and Too Faced Born This Way, then I apply it multiple ways—spot concealing, under-eye, and even trying my “back of the hand” concealer hack—so you can really see how it behaves on mature skin. And you guys… the concealer was a big fat bummer for me in shade 12N. It oxidized like crazy, pulled orange, and just made my skin look ruddy and gross, so I ended up taking it off and going back to what I know works: my Hourglass concealer (chef’s kiss) and my usual base routine. I also try the $10 mini palette and show you the swatches and packaging (the little slide-out mirror is actually cute for travel), but the matte shade didn’t give me the pigment I wanted, so I’ll be honest—save your $10.
