In today’s video, I sat down for a super casual, chit-chat GRWM using products I’ve been genuinely enjoying—because honestly, I’ve been feeling really disappointed in makeup lately. A lot of new launches just aren’t exciting me, and I’m at a point where I’d rather spend my money on the things I truly use daily than chase every hype release. I also shared why I’m craving more real, honest conversations in beauty (without the brand “kiss butt” energy), and why my channel will always be a safe, relaxing place to just get ready together. I also opened up about a frustrating exchange I had with a brand regarding ingredients—specifically coconut derivatives—and why “dermatology tested” and “non-comedogenic” claims don’t automatically make me feel comfortable recommending something, especially as someone who understands how flimsy cosmetic study sizes can be. For the actual makeup, I used my current favorites like the Tirtir cushion mixed with Lumi Glotion, my go-to Hourglass concealer shade Oat for brightness, and that easy, sculpted Makeup by Mario Skin Enhancer. We finished with a simple, polished look and I tested a new Too Faced lip tint shade outside—spoiler: Bubblegum is still the winner for me.
