Ultimately, it is like an engine with 9 cylinders: it ends up lacking the balance you can find in smaller packages. It is a great wireless device with a clever charging solution, but it is ruined by unimpressive, fatiguing sound. The main takeaway of the video is that a set of 20-30 GBP IEMs with an external USB microphone on an arm costs about the same and is a setup I would personally much prefer. The Good - Magnetic Charging Dock: This is my favorite part of the entire product. Alignment is very easy as the volume knob naturally goes into its carved space. - Insane Battery Life: I actively used them for an estimated 45 hours, plus left them playing music at 75% volume for 3 nights. The battery still reported a solid 100% charge. They will last a whole week without breaking a sweat though so even if this is clearly a bug the battery life will be a non issue for most - Wireless Performance: The 2.4Ghz connection is great. The quoted 15ms of latency feels about right in-game, and you never get the sense of anything being delayed. - Build and Comfort: The soft touch off-white plastic feels good and avoids the typical "fridge white" look. At 330g, they are very comfortable for long sessions, especially if you swap the stock fake leather pads for the included all-fabric pair, which provides a cooler and more open feel. The Bad (Audio & Microphone) - Sound Quality: The audio feels small, thin, and shouty. There is a lack of any energy in the low frequencies and the mid frequencies are recessed. Because the highs jump at you, the sound is ultimately fatiguing for both music and gaming. - EQ Limitations: Even using Equalizer APO to fix the sound is difficult because of the built-in DSP. You are effectively equalizing an already equalized sound, which is significantly less flexible. - Microphone: There is a ton of compression making it feel quite muffled. It easily picks up keyboard noises, and the built-in AI noise reduction is less pleasant to use than Discord's standard noise reduction. - 7.1 Surround: The much advertised 7.1 surround is totally pointless as all it does is add echo to the entire sound.
