In this video I’m sharing my real 2025 nighttime skincare routine that I actually use in Tokyo summer (and yes, I filmed it in the daytime because nighttime is too dark). No sponsorships, no PR boxes—everything is purchased by myself and I’m telling you exactly what worked when the season suddenly got hot and my face broke out with acne out of nowhere. I walk you through my steps from cleansing oil (because if you wear sunscreen every single day like me, you need a real makeup remover) to a neck-care step that most people ignore. Then I go into my favorite pH-balanced cleansing foam, and the toner switch that literally helped my summer acne—my old toner was just too heavy for warm weather. After that, I use a strong niacinamide serum at night for pores/redness and skin tone balance (but you have to patch test), and then my most important step: hydration. For me, acne can happen when my skin isn’t balanced, and sometimes it just needs more water. I finish by locking everything in with a light jelly-like cream, and my honest lip mask opinion: no guys, Vaseline doesn’t work the same.
