In this video I’m sharing 5 Japanese fashion trends to try in 2025, and how I mix them with Western styling to create something fresh and unique, but still very “me.” Japanese fashion, to me, is all about quality, creativity, and attention to details. As I got older, I realized a few higher-quality, minimalist design pieces can seriously change your whole wardrobe, so I’m breaking down the trends plus exactly how I style them. I start with oversized fits (because Japan really loves baggy silhouettes), and I share a fun story from my first casting in Japan—my agency literally told me to ditch tight jeans and go wider to look taller. Then I go into Japanese streetwear (cool fabrics, bold prints, pockets and zippers—so iconic), monochrome minimalism (beige, black, white, gray—clean lines and that chic “bougie” vibe), and platform shoes (I basically only wear platforms because they make me look taller and more balanced). Finally, I talk about my forever obsession: stacked socks. I wear them in every season because the body balance just feels “recreated,” especially with platform boots.
