In this video I had to lock in with Kyoshin because these games were straight up sweaty. I start off feeling clean—hit the effect, get a solid first win, and I’m already trying to figure out what’s actually catching people. One thing I call out right away is how I’m not catching dodges with that top heavy like I want to. Every time I commit, they’ll sit still, and the second I go for the bash they dodge—so I’m basically telling you I need to mix better instead of autopiloting. Then it turns into a grind: Peacekeeper had me cooked early because I didn’t think he’d keep GB’ing me, so I adjust with more zone and stop relying on dodge attacks (even though I keep doing it anyway). After that I run into Valk and I’m reminding myself the whole time to play safer—because when I get impatient, I sell. I still clutch rounds with reads, top heavy calls, and some lucky timing, but I also point out missed all-guard counter opportunities and recovery frame stuff I should’ve used. By the end, even against Glad, I’m focused on finding their rhythm and forcing my unblockable mix when I need it.
