Today I hopped on one of the most forgotten Vikings (at least on my channel): Raider. I straight up don’t play him enough, so this video is me shaking off the rust in duels, figuring out what actually works, and testing people’s reactions in real time. You’ll see me talk through punishes, when I should’ve gone for an unblockable mix, and why I need to throw more Storming Tap instead of just autopiloting heavies. It’s a lot of “lock in” moments, but that’s the fun part—duels have been feeling way more intense lately. I ran into some matchups that exposed my Raider experience hard, especially versus Hatun/Varangian-type pressure (that full guard is annoying). I’m learning on the fly—what I can heavy, what trades, and when I’m getting tagged because I’m being too scared to press buttons. The main takeaway: I’ve got to use my unblockable more, keep track of how opponents try to dodge attack my Storming Tap, and clean up my wall-splat choices. We end on a sweaty, clutch last-round win, and honestly… that duel was fun as hell.
