What is up guys—today I’m on Gryphon because the new Hero Fest is here, and it came with a brand new finisher. I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty clean. Some Gryphon finishers are kinda hit or miss, but this one is actually a really good one in my opinion, so I hopped straight into duels to see it in real matches and see what I could do with it. In these fights I run into a mix of opponents—Jorms, a Virtuosa, a Gladiator, and a Jiang Jun—and you get to see the whole For Honor experience: good reads, bad mistakes, and those “why did I press that?” moments. I talk through what I’m seeing in real time, like when someone’s relying on dodge attacks and you’ve gotta bait and punish, or when you’re trying to guess between a regular option and an unblockable version. Biggest takeaway: getting that health lead matters a ton, and I’ve gotta stop being scared to use my dodge for a light even though the punish can be big. I definitely threw a couple rounds, but GG’s—Gryphon felt fun, and that finisher is worth checking out.
