I’m getting ready for that MASSIVE Warmonger buff next week, and in this one I’m basically warming up in Elim while I talk through what I’m looking for and what’s already feeling strong. You’ll see a bunch of sweaty rounds where I’m trying to stay clean, finish fights properly, and not throw my leads—plus a couple moments where I’m straight up mad at myself for missing parries or not zoning when I should’ve. Warmonger is still just… cool. The pressure is crazy when you keep the offense rolling, and I’m calling out stuff in real time like wall opportunities, opening lights, and when I should’ve angled people into hazards. There’s also the usual 4v4 chaos—people ganking, the “unspoken rule” talk in Elim where a lot of us like to run 1v1s, and me trying not to lose my mind while the clock is running out. I even drop some Conq tips for fours: after you land a bash (or get a full guard block), knowing when to take the light vs heavy punish matters a lot, and positioning for target-swapped unblockables makes them way more deadly. Overall, it’s a mix of prep, reactions, and me trying to tighten up my decision-making before Warmonger gets even scarier.
