Let’s talk about post-grad life because I swear no one really talks about what it’s *actually* like. In this video I’m sharing where my life is two years after graduating college (December 2020) with a BA in Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design—plus the stuff I wish someone told me before I left school. I walk through the reality of job hunting, including the time I rescinded an offer because my gut said it wasn’t right (it felt sales-y and kind of MLM-ish), and why I don’t think you should force yourself into a path you already know you don’t want. I also share how my aunt and I basically accidentally started a bakery during the pandemic (hot cocoa bombs era) while I was unemployed, and how that side hustle grew into real orders—weddings, birthdays, baby showers, you name it. On top of that, I was apartment/house hunting because I’m super independent and wanted my own space, and somehow I ended up buying a townhouse and closing on July 1st. Finally, I get super honest about my first 9–5 after college: it was “fine,” but it didn’t excite me, so I job searched while employed, gave my two weeks, and transitioned into being an Influencer Partnerships Coordinator—something I’m genuinely passionate about.
