About This Video

Welcome back to more DIYs (and yes… I started new ones while trying to finish old ones). In this “days in my life” wedding vlog, I’m bouncing between wedding prep, bridal shower prep, and errands—because apparently I can’t just do one thing at a time. I show what I picked up at Michaels (including a foam cake tier because I’m doing a semi-fake wedding cake situation—call me a fraud, I don’t care, it’s easier) plus extra faux florals on sale and a couple big wicker baskets for aisle/ceremony decor. Then it’s straight into crafting mode: I finally iron-on the “reserved” vinyl onto aisle chair bows, paint a giant Connect Four set into our wedding colors (yes it would be easier to spray paint, no I’m not buying $10 spray paint), and work on signage for things like petal toss, desserts, and gifts + games. I also prep bridal shower details like a bouquet bar sign, a mimosa bar sign, and my personal favorite: the pickle cart sign (let me have one joke). To wrap it all up, I finish place cards with a little fabric knot detail, bag the rest of the dried petals, reinforce printed photos to make them sturdier, and even label a t-shirt toss basket with iron-on vinyl. Productive chaos, but we got a lot done.
