In this video I’m deep in my final wedding prep era and it’s very much “I just needed to visualize it” energy. I test out my table setup at home with a wrinkly pillowcase as a stand-in tablecloth (lol) and start making all the tiny decisions that no one will notice… except me, because I notice and I care. I’m playing with table numbers, napkins, bud vases, and a million candle options (amber vs more golden tealights) to make sure the vibe works across the family table and the moodier king’s table. Seeing the candles actually turn on was the little win I needed—so cute. I also spend time at my aunt’s house finishing DIYs, trimming bridesmaid bouquet stems so they sit nicely in the vases, and organizing all the arrangements. Then it’s bridal shower prep: putting together game prize bags with different themes (relax, cozy, home, and a summer/Stanley moment), plus a quick Marshalls haul to build a hostess gift that matches the shower vibe (pink everything, bows, and a mimosa bar nod). To top it off, I do a hair gloss, get my nails done (because I never feel uglier than with no nails), and head to my second wedding dress alteration appointment—aka the “oh my gosh, gorgeous” moment before wedding week kicks off.
