About This Video

Welcome back to another weekend of wedding DIYs—this is part 2 of my Wedding DIY Series, and I’m showing you what I actually finished plus what I’m starting next. I wrap up the linen-style bar sign (she’s basically done and turned out very, very cute) and give an update on my aisle chair bows for reserved seating. I originally wanted to make it all aesthetic on camera, but the ribbon started fraying like crazy, so I used a trusty candle to melt/seal the edges instead (no sewing machine, no extra effort). Next step is adding a little elastic so my coordinator can wrap them onto chairs easily, and then I’ll Cricut “reserved” to finish the look. I also share a mini haul of wedding-day purchases and DIY decor—like non-traditional table number frames I scored on clearance, extra signs I’m repainting because pink is not the vibe for our wedding, bud vases/votives, greenery, and the terracotta fabric I used to tie the bridesmaid bouquets together. I show my bouquet vs. the bridesmaids’ bouquets (same base, mine just has extra so it stands out), plus a few other little details like cufflinks and a seating/table sign idea with paper + fake wax seals. Then we get into paint swatches and start choosing terracotta/clay/creamy tones—because the wedding budget got cut in half and we’re making it work with DIY.
