Today’s vlog is all about wedding dress shopping as a 2025 bride, and I’m bringing you along for the full try-on experience—plus a little rewind to “dress shopping day one,” which was honestly chaotic in the best way. I start by inserting clips from my first appointments so you can see where my head was at (and yes… we had a top contender early on). I talk through what I’m actually looking for—things like an A-line shape, straps (spaghetti straps specifically surprised me), and that balance of timeless + glitz. We go to another bridal shop in the Chicagoland area and try on a bunch of styles—some with blush undertones, subtle sparkle, organic appliqués, and different necklines (square, sweetheart, and more). The biggest takeaway: when a dress has all the elements I’ve been saying I want, my reaction is immediate—and my friends definitely clocked it. By the end, we have a clear top contender, I’m planning to sleep on it, and I’m even doing one more solo appointment to re-try and make sure it’s truly the one.
