I basically start this vlog by saying the quiet part out loud: I think I’m getting engaged this week. I walk you through my full “girl brain detective” spiral—why I’m suspicious, what clues I’m piecing together, and why I’m convinced Zach is trying to throw me off. From ring shopping back in the spring, to him suddenly stopping the ring talk in late June/early July, to my best friend Sid texting him “so it’s happening Friday right” (that I accidentally saw on the car screen)… it was giving red flags (in the best way). I also share my top proposal location guesses, like a sunflower field near us, and why I think he’s keeping the ring at his office. Then I go full prep mode: redoing my nails at 1 AM, trimming my hair, and pulling engagement outfit options (including my Anthropology dress and a few white dresses) because if photos are happening, I want to feel cute. Sid gets into town, I’m like 90% sure it’s the day, and then… yep. Next day update: I was right, we got engaged, and I finally have a ring on my finger. The weekend turns into nonstop celebrations, including a surprise dinner with my college friends that honestly shocked me even more than the proposal.
