Hi friends—today I stepped out of my comfort zone and brought y’all along for a real, cozy day in my life. I started my morning with a run (I’ve been running for two months), knocked out laundry, and then had to save my hair because it was dry and busted with no products in it. Since it was way too hot to wear my curls out, I did my lazy curly hair routine and slicked everything back into an easy claw-clip/bun moment. I used SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (such a throwback from the beginning of my curly journey) and Curlsmith Shower Style Flexer, and I always do a quick “mix test” in my hands first to make sure the products blend before I put them on my hair. After that, I hopped in the shower and did light, simple makeup because it was hot outside. Then we ran errands—PetSmart for bunny food (surprise: we have two bunnies, Rose and Ella) and I was trying to figure out treats and what’s actually good for first-time bunny owners because they eat so much and they are literally pooping machines. I did a quick stop at Trader Joe’s because I didn’t feel like cooking or meal prepping, and I ended the day with Crumbl—went with a super chocolatey cookie and gave it a 10/10. Just a little glimpse into my life, family time, errands, and all the in-between.
