About This Video

I tested the FlexiSpot C7 ergonomic chair for a couple weeks because, honestly, most of us sit way more than we want to admit—gaming, work, YouTube… it adds up fast. At $600 MSRP it doesn’t sound “budget,” but it’s usually around $350 on sale, and compared to the $1,000+ chairs like Herman Miller, that’s a pretty crazy value if it actually holds up. FlexiSpot sent it out for free, but they told me to be completely honest, and that’s exactly what I did. In the video I go over the build, setup, and all the adjustments: armrests (up/down, in/out, forward/back), backrest recline and lock, seat depth adjustment, height, and the tension knob for leaning back. I also talk real-world comfort coming from a DXRacer—mesh breathes way better and doesn’t make me sweat like pleather, but if you’re like me and sometimes rock no shirt, the mesh can feel a little rough. My main downsides are fit-related: at 6’2” the headrest and backrest feel just a little low, and I wish the backrest height was adjustable. Overall though, it’s sturdy, quiet (no squeaks), rolls well even on carpet, and it looks way better in a setup than a “gaming chair.”
