In this video I’m comparing Elkie & Co’s brand new Cairo bag (it’s on preorder and expected in October!) to two of my other Elkie favorites: the Capri and the Aberdeen. I do a quick feature comparison first—materials, carry options, and the outside pockets—so you can tell at a glance what’s the same and what’s different. All three are that microfiber vegan leather that I’ve honestly thrown “pretty much anywhere,” and it’s held up so well (spots wipe right off). I also talk liners, because that’s a huge reason people love Elkie: the zip-out, removable liners you can wash or swap. Then I jump into a real-life packing comparison with what I actually carry for my toddlers. I show you exactly what fits in the Cairo (it’s small but mighty), including diapering basics, snacks, little toys, and even how an iPad mini/kids tablet can fit. After that I move the same items into the Capri so you can see the extra space and all the pockets (it’s my go-to when I have all four kids). And finally I show the Aberdeen, which is my favorite in the newborn stage—especially because of the mom bag you can clip out and take on its own when you need to “escape” without the whole diaper bag setup.
