In this video I’m sharing a close-up review of Andar’s very first backpack—the Addison—and you guys… it does not disappoint. I walk you through all the features first: it’s 100% full grain, oil-waxed leather with a smooth feel but still some texture, a big front bucket-style pocket, two small interior slit pockets, and a leather-lined zipper pocket. One of my favorite details is the hidden side zipper pocket that runs all the way across the bag—perfect for keeping my phone and wallet easy for me to grab, but not easy access for everyone else. Then I pack it two ways so you can really see how it works in real life. First as my personal/work bag (I’ve been using it for weeks while moving and editing), and the reason I’m obsessed: it fits my 15-inch MacBook Pro, which is hard to find in a slim backpack. It zips and unzips just fine, and it stays compact without getting bulky. Finally, I show a super basic diaper bag setup for my more minimal-packer era—wipes, sanitizer, a few diapers, snacks, and my ring sling—so you can see it can be a one-bag option if that’s your vibe.
