In this video I’m walking you through how I teach a horse to “self-halter” using positive reinforcement (+R) / clicker training. The goal is simple: instead of me chasing a horse around with a halter (or wrestling with a head-shy moment), I teach the horse that putting their nose into the halter is their idea—and it pays. I’m showing the process in a really practical, barn-friendly way so you can start with whatever level of comfort your horse has and build confidence from there.
