Japan's Giant Sunlit Reef Tank SHOCKED Me!

I visited the Coral Sea tank at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan, a giant open top reef tank lit by natural sunlight and supplied with fresh seawater from the ocean. I came to Churaumi expecting the famous whale shark tank to be the main highlight, but as a reef keeper, this massive sunlit coral reef tank completely shocked me. The coral colonies were huge, the reef looked mature, and the natural lighting gave the whole display a very different feel from the blue reef tanks we usually see online. In this video, I visit Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and share my honest reef hobbyist reaction to the Coral Sea tank, the whale shark tank, manta rays, garden eels, flashlight fish, pinecone fish, deep sea exhibits, shark displays, and other oddball fish around the aquarium.
