Bonus: this particular puffer species is super affordable — priced more like a freshwater fish than your typical saltwater money pit. 🐡💸 Now, heads up: juvenile Green Spotted Puffers usually hang out in freshwater and only transition to brackish or full marine as they mature. That little detail throws a wrench into a typical reef setup — but good news! These puffers can be acclimated to full marine life, and my mangrove tank setup can swing a little brackish to make them feel right at home.
