About This Video

In this video I tested two SEO tools for content creation: KWHero (Keyword Hero) and TextFocus.net. I used a real example from my own blog—an older Contabo post—and walked through how KWHero builds a keyword plan, generates an AI outline, and then writes a full article (mine came out at a bit over 5,000 words). It’s a solid workflow, but I’m very clear on this: you can’t just dump AI text on a blog and expect it to rank. Google still cares a lot about user experience and E-E-A-T—things like real benchmarks, pricing tables, uptime tests, and having an author presence you can actually verify. Then I switched to TextFocus, which is more about analysis and optimization than writing. I showed how I export its semantic/contextual keywords, generate a draft in ChatGPT, paste it back into TextFocus, and then iterate—fixing over-optimization, adding missing terms, and improving on-page SEO elements like the title length and meta description. Overall, KWHero feels more polished for generating content, but TextFocus is more sophisticated for semantic tuning and competitive comparisons, even though it doesn’t include an AI writer.
