About This Video

In this video, I show you how to build a secure website with Cloudflare Enterprise—without paying the usual enterprise price tag. Normally, if you go direct to Cloudflare, Enterprise doesn’t even show a public price and you’re typically looking at something like $2,000 to $5,000 per month. The reason I’m focusing on Enterprise is simple: the stuff you get there is hard to match anywhere else, especially best-in-class bot mitigation, network prioritization for top-tier performance, and the compliance standards (ISO, SOC, PCI) that can be make-or-break for corporate and government clients. The cost-effective workaround is combining Cloudflare Enterprise with Cloudways, because Cloudways has a commercial agreement that lets you add Enterprise to a domain from $4.99/month. I walk through the full setup step-by-step: buying a cheap test domain on Namecheap, launching a WordPress server on Cloudways (I use Vultr High Frequency), pointing DNS, installing a free Let’s Encrypt SSL, then enabling Cloudflare Enterprise inside Cloudways and swapping your DNS to the required CNAME records. To prove it’s not just theory, I benchmark a WooCommerce shop page three ways: Cloudways + Cloudflare Enterprise, Cloudflare free plan, and Cloudways only. Enterprise comes out fastest (around half a second load time) and also wins on time-to-first-byte, which is exactly why this setup is so valuable for mission-critical sites like eCommerce, LMS/CRM, and anything handling sensitive data.
