In this video I walk through how I took a WooCommerce store (I’m using my Ideaspot Online store as the example) and converted it into a real mobile app for Android and iOS using AppMySite. The big idea is you don’t need to code anything—AppMySite gives you a graphic interface where you can create the app, connect it to WordPress, and then preview and test it before you publish to the app stores. I also mention there’s a free trial so you can build and preview your app first, and if you want to actually publish, you’ll need a plan (I’m using the AppSumo lifetime deal). I show the exact setup steps I took: creating the app (choosing the WooCommerce app type), designing an app icon and splash screen using templates, then installing the AppMySite WordPress plugin and verifying the connection. After that, I grant access using a WordPress Application Password (Users → your admin user → Application Passwords), and then I customize the bottom navigation bar—hiding tabs I don’t need and tweaking colors (I went with a simple neutral gray). Finally, I preview the app in the AppMySite interface (like an iPhone 14 frame) and explain how you can test on a real device, toggle homepage sections, and adjust theming to match your brand.
