About This Video

In this video I show you how I generate a free WordPress test site in literally seconds using ZipWP. If you want a safe place to practice WordPress, test a new theme or plugin, or trial changes you’d never risk on a live site, this is one of the quickest options I’ve found. I walk you through signing up, skipping the Pro upsell, and choosing the free plan so you can start right away. Inside the ZipWP dashboard you’ve basically got two paths: create a blank site or build a site with AI. I’m mainly interested in the blank site option because it spins up a clean WordPress install almost instantly, gives you a temporary domain, and even includes a one-click login straight into wp-admin. The big catch is the site only lasts 24 hours, but for quick testing that’s usually plenty. My typical workflow is to install a theme and try a starter template, or install a migration plugin like WP Vivid to bring in an existing site and experiment safely without touching production hosting.
