Check the new deals here ➡️ https://ideaspot.com.au/racknerd This is a great deal and your price gets locked in (they don't increase the next year like a lot of other places 😄) My other favourite option at a slightly higher price is Vultr high frequency, you can get a free trial here: https://ideaspot.com.au/vultr Cloudpanel tutorial was done previously here: https://youtu.be/ux1n_tiq1xY?si=QR4QyoyQSjuR7NVF Racknerd setup process is here (this one we used Cyberpanel, but I was getting better results in Cloudpanel recently though): https://youtu.be/_UZR5BvI3Tc?si=ARUSDAGwzfrqFDVv More tips and tutorials on our blog at: https://ideaspot.com.au/ At IdeaSpot, we support the free and open exchange of knowledge and information. About This Video

In this video I’m looking at cheap web hosting in 2024 and answering the big question: where can you get genuinely high-performance hosting for a low price? RackNerd’s New Year specials caught my eye because they’ve moved beyond the older low-cost Intel VPS plans I tested before (which were pretty mediocre) and introduced AMD Ryzen VPS options. I tested the “Premium Ryzen NVMe” deal with 1 vCPU on a Ryzen 7950X and 1.2GB RAM—hardware that’s still very recent—at under $2/month when you break the yearly price down. I also explain why the locked-in recurring price is a huge advantage compared to hosts that raise renewal pricing. For the benchmarks, I set up CloudPanel (free) and ran WordPress with WooCommerce using a Kadence Outdoor Store template, plus a lightweight static page. On GTmetrix, I saw an LCP of 1.1s for the WooCommerce shop flow and 0.53s for the static page—basically competitive with almost everything I’ve tested, and only really beaten by Vultr High Frequency. I also ran Anton Alexandrov’s WordPress Hosting Benchmark (8.9/10—second best on my channel) and Kevin Ohashi’s WP Performance Tester (~0.645s). My takeaway: outstanding value for advanced users comfortable with the command line, with generous transfer, solid networking, Port 25 open, and US East Coast locations (New York/Ashburn).
