Welcome guys to another behind the scenes video — this one’s a full shoot day in our Thailand villa, and yeah… it was ridiculously hot. I started the session on my Canon R6 with the 24-70 because I wanted that nice focal range without constantly switching lenses. It’s a very nice contrasty lens, and in a location like this it lets me grab a mix of wides and mids fast — especially with the model on the white railing, flowing white pants, and that vivid green tree backdrop doing the most. Then of course I had to switch it up with the 135 — one of my favorite telephoto lengths ever. The background blur is just buttery smooth, super clean isolation, and that’s where I get what I call the “money shot.” If you’re building a carousel, that striking 135 look is the one I’d put first, then follow with the wider frames to paint the story.
