After having my tools stored away for far too long, it was finally time to get everything back under one roof and cleaned up. In this video, I take you through the process of cleaning my entire toolbox and all of my tools that had built up years of dirt, grease, and dust from storage and daily use. I’m using GUNK Degreaser Wipes along with GUNK Multi-Surface Engine Degreaser Spray to break down the grime and bring everything back to life. There’s nothing better than getting your tools cleaned up, organized, and ready to go back to work in the shop. This video is sponsored by GUNK. About This Video

My main toolbox and a pile of shop gear had been sitting in storage for over a year at a diesel mechanic shop, and when I finally got eyes on it again it was covered in dirt, grease, dust—just everything you’d expect after being parked that long. In this video I walk you through cleaning the entire box, the drawers, and the tools so they’re back in a condition I can actually work with every day. I’m talking pulling the drawers apart, wiping down the mats, getting all the wrenches out, and going piece by piece until the whole setup looks right again. To get it done, I put GUNK degreaser wipes and their multi-surface/engine degreaser spray to work (this video is sponsored by GUNK). The wipes are especially handy on plastic stuff like my EVAP smoke machine because they don’t burn the plastic and they don’t wipe your labels off—plus they’ve got a rough side for scrubbing and a smooth side for the final wipe. I even had to blow my welder apart and clean every cable and nook and cranny (yeah… rat droppings and all). It took a ton of hours and elbow grease, but the results were honestly awesome—clean tools, clean carts, and everything ready to go back to work in the shop.
