In this video, I take you along as I start the massive process of sorting through the chaos, cleaning years of grease and grime off my tools, and beginning the organization of my new shop setup. This is the start of turning a complete mess into the ultimate dream workspace. To help bring these tools back to life, I’m using GUNK Degreasing Wipes and GUNK Multi-Surface Engine Degreaser to cut through years of built-up grease, dirt, and shop grime. This video is sponsored by GUNK. Thank you to GUNK for supporting the channel and helping make this shop transformation possible. About This Video

For the first time in my life, I’ve got every tool I own in one location under one roof. I packed everything up in San Diego and hauled it all the way to Washington State, and this video is the start of turning a complete mess into a real-deal dream workspace. Between crates, cabinets, carts, and a big old toolbox that was sitting for over a year in a diesel shop, everything was covered in dust, dirt, grease, and just plain shop grime. I walk you through the reality of unloading and setting up a heavy toolbox (almost 2,000 lbs empty), what went wrong with my original unloading plan (yep—wheelbase vs. ramp), and why I had to pull drawers and lighten the load to get it safely into the shop. Then it’s cleaning time: I’m using GUNK degreasing wipes and cleaners to restore the box, the tools, and even my welder that was in a farm setting (rat droppings and all). Along the way I show how I’m organizing drawers—sockets, wrenches, power tools, diagnostics, specialty tools—and why I like certain setups like toolbox widgets. This is just the beginning, but it feels good finally having everything in one place and getting it dialed in.
