I break it down into the two main reasons I always use a VPN when I’m traveling: security and speed. Hotel Wi‑Fi and public networks are notorious for putting you at risk, so I don’t like signing in to email, passwords, or work accounts without a VPN running. Then I show how to use Auto Connect for the best speed, or manually pick a specific country/city (like Los Angeles) so it looks like you’re working from your office location—helpful for company networks, shared drives, and situations where a static IP is required. I also go into the key settings I turn on every time: launch at startup, stay invisible on LAN, and the kill switch so you’re not exposed if the VPN drops.
