How to Build a Spray Booth

This spray booth works well in a small shop because it is light, compact, and easy to store. See how to make one and how it works. Plans available at https://woodenitbenice.ca/collections/woodworking-plans A spray booth is used to contain the mess when spraying finishes with a spray gun. Using a fan with a filter helps to capture the overspray by pulling the air nearby through the filter. To help control the airflow, it's also best to use the smallest area possible to spray. This booth can be as small as 3 feet across or as wide as 6 feet across as the sides are hinged. The spray booth is designed with small lumber and dowel hinges. It's an affordable spray booth as it only requires $20-40 in wood, $6 for a drop cloth, and $5-10 for an air filter. Add on your own fan and you've got a great way to control the overspray of paint in your shop.
