In this video, I’m showing you the new game-changer: Voice Focus isn’t just for Elgato mics anymore. It’s now a VST you can use with basically any microphone, which means everyone can get that same clean, isolated vocal sound. I walk you through installing the VST on Windows and Mac (drag-and-drop into the right plugin folder), activating it with your license key, and enabling it inside Wave Link. Then I test it live with a “dinky little” wireless lav, a budget USB-C mic, and my Elgato Wave Neo—plus the ultimate stress test: a massive fan blasting like a wind tunnel. The difference is dramatic in real time. The secret sauce that I don’t see people talking about enough: you can apply Voice Focus after recording. Toss your audio into Audacity or Adobe Audition, slap the VST on in post, and you’ve just saved yourself a ton of editing time. I do think £40 is a bit spicy, and I’d love a 7–14 day trial option, but for me the one-click workflow is absolutely worth it.
