In this quick update, I’m showing you a pretty big change to the Jabra Enhance Pro app for the Costco Jabra hearing aids (specifically the Jabra Enhance Pro 20s). Jabra finally added the Auracast Assistant right inside the official Jabra app, which means you don’t have to mess around with the ReSound Smart 3D app anymore just to scan and connect to an Auracast broadcast. ReSound and Jabra are basically the same thing under the hood, but it’s nice to see Jabra catch up and make this feature official. I walk you through exactly what to look for: you’ll need app version 1.39.0 (or newer). I show you how to verify the version inside the app (More → Legal Information → Manufacturer), how to update the app on Android (Play Store) and iPhone (App Store), and where the new Auracast controls show up. And yes—this is the wild part—it works on iPhone 11 and up. If you update and you see Auracast Assistant in “More” but you don’t see “Find a broadcast” on the Home tab, power your phone all the way off and restart it. That fixed it for me.
