In this video I get right to the point and show you exactly how to set up the Jabra / ReSound TV Streamer Plus step by step. This is the newest GN TV streamer for the latest generation hearing aids (Jabra, ReSound Nexia, Beltone Serene) that have Auracast and Bluetooth 5.3. If you’ve got an earlier generation GN hearing aid, this is not the one—you're going to need the TV Streamer 2 instead. I walk you through powering it on (plug it in and look for the white light on the back), then pairing your hearing aids three different ways: (1) no phone/no app using the pairing button and restarting the aids, (2) having your fitter pair it in the fitting software, or (3) pairing through the Jabra Enhance Pro app under Accessories. After that, I show the two main TV connections: optical/TOSLINK (with the rubber caps removed and the flat/rounded side lined up) or the red/white RCA audio plugs. Finally, I show how to start/stop streaming from the hearing aid buttons if you don’t use a phone, how volume works on the streamer itself, and how the app gives you separate TV vs surroundings volume plus a delay slider if the lips don’t match the audio.
