About This Video

Walmart finally got caught, and it explains why groceries feel so insane right now. In this video I’m reacting to multiple clips where people grab “5 lb” meats (and other weighted items), walk them over to the store scale, and the numbers aren’t even close. We’re talking packages labeled 4.93–5.62 lbs showing up as 1.7–2.5 lbs on the scale. That’s not “oops, rounding.” That’s getting charged double for food you didn’t receive, and it’s happening in a way most people will never notice because they’re in a rush and they trust the label. What makes this worse is it’s not even the first time. Walmart already settled a $45 million class action lawsuit in 2024 over weighted groceries and shelf tags showing higher weights than reality—yet here we are again. And of course it’s never “over” in the customer’s favor. My takeaway is simple: you can’t go on autopilot anymore. Check your meats, use the scale, compare the label to the actual weight, and if you catch it, document it—because apparently we’re the checks and balances now.
